Thought I’d share this with you.

Preparing some content for someone else’s website in preparation for it’s imminent launch one of the articles went to page one of google on day one.

It succeeded because of the combination of words used and this is something many people don’t understand.

If for instance you want to promote jewellery you have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting on page one as it is such a competitive term.

Antique or vintage jewellery will give you a better chance which is further improved by gold antique jewellery for example as the exact combination of words is less frequently used.

OK your hit rate will be lower but your conversion rate should be higher as people have found you entering the term they are looking for.

Over time Phil you will decide which sites suit you and which ones you can remove but better to try them all and then decide Glad you liked the title!

Loving the title and detail.

I think it is good to have lots of profiles etc. but I do think there can be too many! It’s difficult to keep track of it all!
